She came across Tarek el Moussa in the real estate industry. HGTV: Rise to Fame Tarek requested a friend of his to make an audition tape for HGTV in 2011. The tape featured the actor as well as Christina flipping a whole house. Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. They fell in love with Tarek and Christina. They signed an official contract with HGTV in the year 2012. In April 2013 "Flip of Flop" is a reality series, was launched. In the seven seasons that ran from 2013 and 2017, the show ran 92 episodes.
