The show she played in 92 performances were praised by Canadian theater critics. She was offered the opportunity to enroll in the Stratford Conservatory, which is a private institution that accepts just eight men and four women for a crash course in the art of classical theater. Contractor was eager to accept. Contractor was guaranteed a spot in the following season of productions and was offered the role in the role of Hermia as Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
